Nautillia is for practical purposes a Phantom Ship joined with a metal combat submersible from the Age of Marvels, which she and others of that time call the Age of Dreams. She spent most of the time since then in a broken state, slumbering away the centuries until Jackrum Boots repaired her and became her captain.
Though her humanoid form is believed to have been gained from the effects of the grand changing it is possible that she is a different species all together.
